A late 17th century Dutch flintlock holster pistol, marked for W Droogbrood Utrecht, the sighted brass barrel cast with scrolling leaf decoration, stamped with barrel makers mark, with walnut full stock with engraved brass side mounts and C scroll leaf decorated trigger guard, with gadroon engraved spurred pommel with grotesque mask, overall 19.75in.

Split and damage along the full walnut stock towards the end of the barrel which now means the brass barrel is loose and can be lifted slightly from the walnut stock, there are also another couple of minor splits and losses around the edge of that walnut stock.
Other knocks, marks and wear along the brass work but overall a good colour and once restored properly will be an attractive looking piece.
