A Chinese export ivory basket, first half 19th century, the sides finely pierced and carved with figures amid pavilions and trees, the handle pierced and carved with a bat and cash, phoenixes, flowers and pomegranates, 21.5cm, reglued

The basket has come apart in the past and been reglued with some messy areas of old glue in areas of the joints, to one of the smaller end panels there is a slight loss to the pierce work at one end in line with the central divider, otherwise a little grubby in areas, good condition.
