Margaine. A 19th century French engraved brass hour repeating carriage clock, with later top plate, enamelled dial signed Howell James To The Queen, London and movement striking on a gong, numbered 9031, 6in.

Case with fair amount of polish rubbing, leaving it now with a dark bronzeish colour, button for repair possibly a later replacement, dial alittle rubbed at the bottom with slight wear to the naming and some small marks in the lower right corners, hands probably original, glass all in good condition, top plate looks like a later replacement, beehive mark stamped in lower left corner above the number 9031. Movement not going, repeat not working.
