A rare Arita quatre-lobed small teapot and cover, late 17th century, painted in Imari palette with flowers and foliage, 8.2cm, firing crack to body

There is wear to the gilding on the finial, tip of the spout and the floral decoration, there is a clear firing crack to the interior of the pot running from just below the shoulder right down to the base along the inter section of two lobes, this with subsequent age has gone through to a lightly stained hairline crack on the exterior running two thirds of the height of the teapot and across the foot, otherwise in good condition.
