A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo Indian ivory jewellery casket, the top with central oval panel painted en grisaille with gilt scroll decoration depicting scenes of famous Indian palaces including the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, with internal lift-out tray, on squat bun feet, 8in.

Inset painted oval panel has large section of wear to top parts, all joints and corners and sides have been apart and reglued. Top panel has shrunk slightly and there are minor shrinkage cracks in places, generally average.
