Impasto on canvas, the extremely thick paintwork has accumulated a fair amount of dust and will certainly require a clean, also some fine but stable lines of craquelure, really only noted in the white near the top right corner, signed and dated lower left, not framed, fully signed and dated on the back of the canvas, along with a Knoedler Gallery label dated 1985 / 88, giving title and size, reference no. 03169, also auctioneers labels verso for a Bonham's sale 18th March 2009 where it was purchased by the current vendor.
