lacks frontis. and engr. title (?if called for); 3 prelims are: printed title, index, to the reader; text pagination correct (there is some intermittent local mispagination - but self correcting); signatures - (2 unsigned A leaves), A3, B-Z6, Aa - Pp6, Qq8. title for Profane stte is p.(341); both titles with same imprint. few scratches on leather, with 2 small pieces missing lwr. bd., first title darkened with some gutter and edge fraying, some marginal fore-edge stains early leaves, lt. intermittent spotting etc. and a lt. leaf creasing, 18th/19th neat ownership head of title, e/ps replaced.
