Condition:
Case top with splits to veneers; surface of veneers dry; trunk door was not made to open; brass bezel not hinged and does not open; enamelled dial and glass good; key not original but fits. Has been wound and working over some twenty-four hours, losing around seven minutes. French movement backplate stamped Made in France but case is almost certainly English. Unusual for the back to be amboyna veneered.
