Condition:
Both vols. have the dedication (to Florence Nightingale) and the plates description leaves as letterpress. Wrappers - soiled and worn, plates with some fore-edge tears and fraying, some spotting and dampstaining primely to margins, some folding plates coming detached from central paper guard, one with a tear (10 cm) and another single page plate with (4 cm) marginal tear.
