A George III topaz and pearl ring, circa 1820, set with an oval topaz within a border of split seed pearls, the shoulders and band decorated with floral engraving, mounted in gold, size L, gross weight approximately 5 grams

Condition:
Possibly once resized - part of the engraving is worn and lost towards back of shank. Some minor fissures to interior of band around shoulders, possibly from manufacturing. Topaz in a closed setting, an attractive orange colour, good clarity, minor wear, measuring approximately 9 x 6.5mm.
