A large Chinese European subject ‘hunting’ punch bowl, Qianlong period, the exterior finely painted with huntsman on horseback leading out a pack of hounds in an English landscape with gentleman wearing tricorn hats passing by a walled garden with buildings beyond, the interior painted with a single figure on horseback in a landscape vignette, 38cm diameter, hairline cracks

There are four hairline cracks extending from the rim towards the well of the bowl, some wear to the gilding on the rim, no chips or restoration detected, typical minor glaze imperfections, otherwise in good condition.
