Two Chinese gilt decorated black lacquer games boxes, containing numerous mother-of-pearl counters, 19th century, the first shaped box, 39cm, with bat shaped feet enclosing an interior fitted with seven lidded boxes and 12 trays, containing different designs of engraved and pierced mother-of-pearl gaming counters, the second rectangular games box, 29.5cm, containing three lidded boxes each initialled GB with the crest of a lion rampant holding across, each containing rectangular and circular mother-of-pearl counters engraved with the same crest, damage to boxes
