An Art Deco onyx and diamond brooch, 1920s, centring on a navette-shaped motif flanked by millegrained openwork panels with stylised foliate motifs, set with circular-cut and baguette diamonds, outlined in the centre and to each end with buff-topped calibré-cut onyx, length 5.5cm, later fitted case stamped Croydons of East Anglia

Condition:
Lovely brooch in good condition, some minor glue residue visible around some of the onyx pieces under magnification, not obvious to the naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively, central diamond approximately 0.40 carats, total diamond weight approximately 2.00 carats. Brooch fitting in good working order, gross weight approximately 8 grams.
