Two fob seals, mid 19th century, one set with a foiled amethyst engraved with a ducal coronet and a horse passant, the other set with an oval amethyst, in foliate gold mounts, larger 2.7cm high, larger matrix 16 x 14mm

Condition:
One with dark discoloration to metal. Both finely made examples with beautiful, crisply carved foliate decoration. Crest is that of the Upton family. Combined gross weight 24 grams.
