Attractive binding (and bound as 2 vols, being sometimes the case); it is not unusual for the Tern plt. to be lacking; all 3 missing plts, present in facsimile - the 2 others are Gate of St. Bart's Hosp. and St Mary's Church. Some foxing, but mostly on folded plates, o/w marginally, most tissue guards present, text mostly clean. Apart from errata leaf, erratum slip pasted on title verso; bk. dated in error mdcccxcii (1892). pp. (9), viii, 881pp. (incl, half title, additional subscribers leaf and errata leaf); 2nd vol. commences with Sandwich Customal part title (p.493).
