Two early 19th century framed samplers. One dated 1807 by M Buckland, worked with a church, blackbirds and trees and large verse, the other dated 1824 by Jane Myatt Horton worked with a wide border, with spot motifs of dogs, trees, birds and flowers with two large motifs of recumbent deer. Largest 39cm wide x 42cm high. Condition - both have strong colours and back fabric strong, but one has some staining to backing cloth.
