Condition:
Oil on original canvas, one small patched hole now retouched showing in his white shirt, otherwise a little dirty with a fine but stable craquelure running throughout, one small flake of paint near the lower right corner, looks to be the original 19th century gilt gesso frame which has been overpainted in gold.
