A mid Victorian hand worked Ayrshire christening gown, the bodice worked in fine detail with hand worked needle lace insertions, together with a one ply Shetland wool finely knitted christening shawl and a baby's night gown with a fine cutworked belt and bobbin lace decoration, christening dress 114cm long. Condition - the central embroidery on bodice and lower end of shirt panel has bracts on the needle lace insertion missing, some marks and light rust stains, the shawl is undamaged, all items need washing.
