David Smith (British, 1930-1999), ink and wash on paper, 'Breydon Water, Norfolk', signed and dated 1961, 39 x 56cm. Provenance; from the artists' studio. Condition - fair. David Smith was born in Lowestoft and exhibited around the world. He wrote several books and travelled as an artist on the QEII, with the British Antarctic Survey and painted the lighthouses for Trinity House.

Honest untouched condition, ground paper has discoloured particularly around the margins, loose in the mount, most signs of paint and dirt are on the glass not the work, in a plain glazed frame with Bankside Gallery Exhibition label verso.
