A small mid 19th century Swiss musical box in a bird’s eye maple case, side key wound, 30cm wide. Condition - fair.

Condition:
Comb-teeth all good; plays, changes and stops at the end according to the three working levers; with original key; impressed number to brass platform, 2961. Case maple veneers mellow; one rear corner chipped and incomplete; top with a long dent and light sirface scratches, none serious; inset, oval brass plate to top not engraved/personalised; top with three dark stains. Unsigned or otherwise inscribed. Hand-written label to underside now shown. Those interested are encouraged to telephone in order to hear it’s tone.
