Two 17th century finely embroidered needlework fragments, possibly originally part of a casket or sampler, depicting a butterfly and flower on one and a bird and fruit on the other, in an oval gilt frame, largest fragment 13cm x 2.5cm high. Condition - both fragments are dirty from age and therefore difficult to see the original colouring of the stitches
