Condition:
Oil on canvas which looks to have been originally painted to fit a rectangle but is now mounted as an oval, and has been relined many years ago with additional elements showing at the top, bottom and sides of the oval which looks to be additional sections of canvas added on, paint a little dirty, fine craquelure throughout, apparently unsigned, housed in a late 19th century gilt gesso frame which is now rather tatty and has an attribution plaque to the artist as well as hand inscribed old label verso.
