Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, paint remains clean, a little fine craquelure showing particularly in the blues of her dress, signed lower left, housed in the original ornate gilt frame which has a few dents and losses, remnant of Christie's stencil mark verso. The canvas does fit the frame but has slipped slightly in the photograph and with manual adjustment does that correctly. Any red lines are just reflections in the glass, there is a small skin blemish to the oil on her right arm and just below the elbow
