A Chinese cloisonné enamel and gilt bronze mounted censer and cover, 19th century, finely decorated in colours with taotie masks, stylised Shou characters within lappeted borders, the shoulder applied with a pair of bixi handles, on three elephant head feet, the domed cover worked in repousse and pierced with flowers and scrolling tendrils, surmounted by a Buddhist lion finial, 16cm wide, 17cm high, minor damage

Condition:
There are small flake losses and some hairline cracks extending into the body and base from one of the elephant head feet, some wear to the gilding in places, otherwise in good condition.
