Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, perhaps a little dirty, what looks to be a discoloured line running down vertically through her hair, unpainted canvas at the bottom in the lines of her dress, signed and indistinctly dated lower right, housed under glass in the original gilt frame which has some losses, Army & Navy Warehousing label verso dated 1947
