Condition:
Serpent brooch only- Numerous surface abrasions to the cabochon stone. There is a large piece of the gilt metal missing on the back(hole), where the pin hinge one was. Pin and hinge now missing. Small repair on the back close to the pin hook. Gilt metal is worn in places, showing the base metal beneath. Small are where the metal has been scratched to test.
