A Chinese bronze 'dragon' circular incense box and cover, Xuande seal mark, 18th/19th century, the cover cast and chased in relief with a sea dragon surrounding a Buddhist conch shell, the base with key scroll border and a four character elongated ‘Xuande nian zhi’ seal mark, 7.3cm diameter, 11.7cm high

Condition:
The cover has minor wear to the patina on some of the high areas. The base is heavily scratched on the interior, and has some slight pitting to small areas on the rim, the foot has a few small areas of filler to indentations or casting imperfections on the edge, some evidence of a varnish on the underside which has slightly splattered in places, otherwise in good condition. Weight 2.6kg
