A Chinese carved white jade pendant plaque, 18th/19th century, carved in relief with the figure of He Xiangu and a deer, the reverse with a four character seal mark, the stone of good even tone, 6.1cm x 5cm, wood stand
Provenance: The owner’s parents lived in Hong Kong before 1940 when they purchased this jade, thence by family descent.

Condition:
There is a tiny splinter chip to the top right edge of the plaque on the side in which He Xiangu appears, Stone of good even tone with some natural inclusions, in good condition.
