A pair of large French Sevres style ormolu mounted candelabra, in Louis XVI style, 19th century, each painted with fantastical birds in neo-classical gardens, the reverse with fantastical birds in landscapes, within gilt cartouches, on a bleu du Roi ground, with ormolu twin handled mounts issuing rose branch candle arms, on a leaf cast and fluted pedestal base, 69cm high

Condition:
The porcelain has typical minor glaze imperfections, and some over enamelled firing cracks by one handle, occasional minor scratches and losses to the gilding. The ormolu rose branches are lacking some occasional tiny flowers, the branches have been later drilled for electrical cable which is now removed and converted back to candle holders. Some occasional small well executed solder repairs to the branches. Generally in good presentable condition.
