Condition:
Overall of very heavy quality Cuban mahogany, the top rather faded but elsewhere a fair mid reddish brown mahogany tone, old wear and scuffing to the top commensurate to age, baize is a later replacement and has some staining and wear, chess and backgammon boards with some fine cracking and minor damage to the veneers, a push button beside the lock opens the base compartment, the underside of the backgammon board having an easel fitting, side drawer lacks any fittings, lock looks original but no key present, minor scuffing and wear to the feet.
