Condition:
Longer brass index two mounting screws replaced; impressed number 780 just above these mounting screws; scale numbered from 02 to 98; three light cracks at mahogany base, not serious; otherwise generally good with acceptable wear through normal usage. Case with old stains but generally good; no key; no brass shield at end of box and no sign of ever having had one. The slide-rule is accompanied by photocopies of related textbook, Nineteenth Century Scientific Instruments.
