An 18th century Spanish chestnut coffer, carved in relief with a central fountain flanked by stylised sunburst trees and further sunbursts centred with birds and Sacred Heart and scrolls beneath, width 158cm, depth 62cm, height 76cm

Condition:
Overall an even mid-brown tone. The top with old scuffs dents and wear commensurate with age including a split on the left side. Steel escutcheon and latch look original but no lock is present, panelled and carved sides equally with old wear
