Both works relined many years ago, he - canvas remains tight, looks rather dirty with some very slight bitumous bubbling showing in the darker areas, apparently unsigned, housed in an ornate carved giltwood frame which has some small breaks and losses as well as rubbing to the gilding. She - with similar tight canvas and dirt but otherwise looks to be in honest order, signed at 7 o'clock and housed in a matching frame in similar condition, neither with any labels or inscriptions verso.
