The story ‘’From the Old World to the New’’, recounts how the vessel, the Majestic, rescues survivors of another ship that collided with an iceberg. Stead, who had previously predicted he would die by lynching or drowning, drowned at sea whilst a passenger on the RMS Titanic, on 15th April, 1915
