Condition:
Oil on original canvas with canvas remaining tight, a broad craqelure running throughout the work but particularly through the lower areas of paint with the ase ground now showing through, apparently unsigned, further stable craquelure higher up in the work and overall this is rather dirty, housed in the original gilt gesso scroll frame which has numerous small losses, old Sotheby's stickers verso, one small patched repair near the top right corner.
