painted in enamels, on a rococo scrollwork base in pink and green, cf. the same model in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, accession no. C.1334-1924,

Condition:
Restoration to his right shoulder and arm, across the lions back and left rear leg, across the lions front leg and beneath its belly. Associated fine cracks across the back of the figure cross his left arm across the lions body and numerous fine cracks across the base, some larger visible firing cracks to the unglazed base visible underneath.
