Condition:
Oil on canvas realigned many years ago, canvas remains tight although paint and varnish on now rather dirty. Lower left corner looks a little rubbed and there is no sign of a signature. Housed in the original gilt gesso scroll frame which is dirty with a few old cracks and has an artist attribution on the slip. Old auctioneers chalk marks verso and a label stating ‘Hereford public museum, lent by Mrs Ramsden, Hampton Park, Hereford’.
