Condition:
Oil on original canvas with puncture marks and tears just through the top of her bonnet, this was done relatively recently by the Vendell, all pieces of canvas are intact but there is some paint loss at the tears. Otherwise paint looks rather dirty with stretcher marks showing top and right side. Some scattered dark black spotting to the left and right sides and small white spotting down the right side and across the bottom. Apparently on the signed. Housed in the original gesso frame which has been overpainted with gold paint. No labels or inscriptions verso, Vienna canvas makers stamp.
