Signed with impressed stamp to each of the brass mounts that hold the tuning keys. VR monogram above J GERARD, 50 KING ST. The strings are attached at the other end to a rectangular rosewood mount which has been repaired by the current owner. Front with wear, scuffs and a wishbone-shape scratch; some rosewood stringing replaced/repaired; back surface with scuffs. 92cm. full length; body of instrument 45cm x 29cm max.
