One of the pair of medium size plates with hairline crack approx 8cm, the other medium size plate very small chip to rim approx. 3 x 1mm, latter plate enamels somewhat worn, smallest plate with wear to gilded rim.

Provenance - Alfred Theodore Arber-Cooke (c.1910-1993); thence by family descent. Arber-Cooke lived in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was an avid collector of European & Asian works of art and an author of the History of Llandovery. He was collecting from the 1940s to the 1980s.
