Oil on original canvas in somewhat neglected condition, canvas is original and tight, paint is very dirty with numerous insect and other dirt marks but otherwise looks good, signed and dated lower right, housed in the original gilt gesso frame which is cracking around the edges and has one area fixed with tape. Exhibition label preserved verso for The New Gallery, Regent Street, Summer Exhibition 1888 with price at £50.
