A George III brass and steel fender, of serpentine form, with gadrooned plinth and scroll feet, and a pair of fire dogs, fender 140cm D.43cm H.25.5cm fire dogs D.38cm H.26cm

Fender - original gilding rubbed away throughout, steel fret work insert with oxidisation spots, no feet or supports present at the back, small section missing to the top frieze at the back left side.
Fire dogs both in good condition.
