A George III mahogany chest on chest, fitted two short and six graduated long drawers with a central brushing slide, with dentil cornice and bracket feet, W.3ft 8.5in. D.1ft 10in. H.6ft 2.5in.

Overall looks to be in good usable condition, mahogany is of a rich well polished reddish tone, a little darker on the top half than the bottom, one or two small chips and losses around the cornice, handles look to be associated but are a close fit for the original holes, varying degrees of wear to the gilding of the handles, a few old dents and scratches to the sides, with a full length vertical crack on the lower left, minor denting and scuffing to the feet but overall good order.
