A rare and important lead glass candlestick, attributed to George Ravenscroft, c.1680 semi-crizzled, the cylindrical nozzle above a stem with central segmented knop flanked by quatre-lobed knops, on a rib moulded spreading foot and three bun feet, 27.5cm high

Condition - noticeable crizzling and a small splinter chip to the nozzle. There is very fine and thin layer of surface crizzling to the stem which can only be seen with an eye glass. There are small patches of white crizzling between the ribs of the base visible on top and on the underside to the actual ribs. Wear to the bun feet consistent with age.
