A pair of 19th century Chinese cream silk satin sleeve bands, embroidered in polychrome silks, depicting figurative scholarly and other scenes amongst motifs of bridges, flowers and pagodas

One sleeve band has damage to the back silk, stained but the colours of the embroidery are unfaded and embroidery is in good condition. The other sleeve band to the pair is slightly more stained and dirty, there is very slight damage to the embroidery and the colours are strong.
