A Chinese pale celadon jade 'lotus' brushwasher, 18th/19th century, formed as a curled lotus leaf carved in high relief with lotus flowers, tendrils and small leaves, L. 9.7cm, carved wood 'lotus' stand

There are a few tiny chips to the edge of the rim of the leaf brushwasher, the stone is of good even tone with some veining and inclusions and some darker speckles to the surface on one of the edges of the leaf, the wood stand appears to be in good condition, no restoration or cracks.
