A George II giltwood and gesso wall mirror, with shaped bevelled rectangular plate, flower and leaf decoration and twin brass sconces, W.1ft 10in. H.3ft 3in.

Some small losses to the gesso to the top of the mirror, one of the acanthus scrolls to the right just above the plate has a 2cm loss of gesso, to the left top of mirror moulding there is a crack in the gesso, the mirror is obviously very clouded, above the right hand side candle sconce there is a small bruise to the gesso, some very minor patches of regilding, branches look original and are in fair order though the right hand example is loose, plate is old possibly original with typical oxidisation throughout.
