Two Derby porcelain figures of cats, c.1810-30, the first a black cat seated on a pink tasselled cushion, the model attributed to Edward Keys, the second a recumbent tortoiseshell cat on a pink rectangular cushion, both unmarked, H. 4.3cm and 5cm

Seated black cat has restoration to both of his ears, the restoration is a slightly glossier black than the rest of his coat, there is some occasional small flakes to the black enamel of the cat and some slight black speckling to the glaze upon the base and some slight wear to the gilding
Tortoiseshell cat has fine crazing to the glaze all over, there is a minute chip to the glaze on the cats right ear and some slight sharpness to its left ear and there is also some slight wear to the enamels on its coat, there is a visible firing crack underneath which does not show on the top otherwise in reasonable condition.
