Very slight bowing to the ivory, possibly a little faded, the white of the gentlemans face merges in with the white of the cloud behind him, one or two scattered dirt specks although much of this on the glass, frame has a few small nicks around the edges but otherwise is in good order, label verso giving details of the artist and sitter.
