Both vases have a few tiny losses to the carved cinnabar lacquer around the neck, and one of the vases has a few other tiny chips around the body. Both vases have some flaking to the black lacquer on the interior and on the underside of the foot, both vases slightly grubby, one more than the other, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, cracks or serious losses.
